Note: You can use the IIT Main Gate (Vehicles will be allowed inside) or the Velachery Gate (Vehicles won't be allowed). They can get a bus from either of the gates to the venue building (New Academic Complex 2). It can take upto 30 mins from the gates to the venue, so they should plan accordingly.

On the exam day

⏰ Reporting & Identity Verification

  • Report 90 minutes before the exam starts.
  • Bring your Admit Card + original photo ID (School ID, Aadhaar Card, Passport, etc.). No photocopies.
  • Leaving before 1:00 PM is prohibited.

🚫 Prohibited Items

  • Banned: papers, books, digital watches, phones.
  • Only simple analog watches are allowed (no memory/connectivity).
  • Possession of a banned item means immediate debarment.

📝 Stationery & Rough Work

  • Rough sheets are provided in the exam hall.
  • Write your Name & Roll Number on the sheets.
  • Return all rough sheets before you leave.

🎒 Allowed Personal Items

  • Bring your own pen and pencil.
  • Recommended: water bottle & snacks.
  • A pocket hand sanitizer is allowed.
