The sixteenth International Conference on Natural Language Processing (ICON-2019) will be held at IIIT Hyderabad, India during December 18-21, 2019. The ICON Conference series is a forum for promoting interaction among researchers in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computational Linguistics (CL) in India and abroad. The main conference is on December 19-20, 2019. This will be preceded by one day of pre-conference tutorials on December 18, 2019 and one day of post conference workshops on December 21, 2019.

Papers in ICON proceedings will be indexed in ACL Anthology. ACL Anthology is a digital archive of research papers in Computational Linguistics for major international conferences under Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL), which is one of the most well-known associations for NLP and CL. The previous proceedings of ICON 2014 ^[1] , ICON 2015 ^[2] , ICON 2016 ^[3] and ICON 2017 ^[4] can be found in ACL Anthology.

Papers are invited on substantial, original and unpublished research on all aspects of Natural Language Processing, with a particular focus on South Asian languages and other less resourced languages, issues, and applications relevant to South Asia. However, other languages of the world are not excluded. The areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

Papers should be in English.
The length should not exceed 10 pages.
Papers should be submitted in PDF Form.
If your paper contains text of languages other than English please attach relevant font files along with your submission.

Poster Presentation Format

Please note that Poster Session schedule is on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 16:00 hours. Click here for the programme schedule.
Please use boldfaced lettering of size readable from a distance of approximately 5 feet. Please bring your own pointer to make the presentation. The display board will be available to you by 15:00 hours on Thursday, Dec 19, 2019.
Posters must be put on the boards in advance say before an hour of your poster presentation schedule. You will be provided with the adhesive stickers/board pins to adhere your poster to the board.
At least one named author of each Poster must be in attendance at the conference.

Dimensions/Printing of your poster
Size: A0 Portrait Each poster must be printed (at the cost of the author) and SHOULD NOT BE BIGGER than the following size: Height/tall= 1189mm (46 inches), Width=841mm (32.5 inches)
